XAVER Award 2026: LiveCom Industry Celebrates Switzerland's Best Live Events

On Tuesday evening, September 8, the XAVER Award 2026 provided a showcase for the most exceptional live projects in Switzerland. TICKETINO organized ticketing and guest management for the industry event at the Festhalle Bern.

Before the XAVER Award, the LiveComvention took place in the afternoon. Our TICKETINO team organized on-site admission for the new format. At our self-badging stations, guests were able to print their own personalized badge using their ticket.

At the heart of the LiveComvention were various bar camps, where industry professionals, innovators, and emerging talents discussed current topics such as AI in event management, sustainability, the Swiss event industry in international comparison, and the future of the industry.

The Best Live Projects in Switzerland Were Celebrated

In the evening, the XAVER Award followed as the actual highlight of the event. TICKETINO also organized check-in here. Out of 49 nominated projects, the seven-member jury honored the best live events of the year across eight categories. The top gold awards went to the agency Nadine Imboden Production for Mobiliar's 200th anniversary ceremony "Besser zusammen", as well as to SRG together with the Canton of Basel-Stadt for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Special awards were also presented. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Urs Kessler, former CEO of the Jungfrau Railways, for his life's work in the Swiss tourism and event sector. The audience award, "Public XAVER," went to the Muni-Max by Aroma. The gigantic wooden bull could be admired for the first time at the Eidgenössisches Schwing- und Älplerfest 2025.

The general assembly of the industry association Swiss LiveCom Association Expo Event SLA also took place at the Festhalle Bern. As a member, TICKETINO also took part.
