The partnership with Turicum Distillery has been ongoing since 2019. Together with the Zurich-based distillery, TICKETINO AG developed a customized, bespoke white-label solution that is embedded on Turicum’s website as an event calendar. Since then, TICKETINO AG has ensured seamless ticket sales.
There has recently been a new addition to Turicum Distillery’s lineup of events. Since early April 2026, the distillery has been offering the Turicum Distillery Tour. Learn more about this innovative offering from the organizer:
Dear Petra Schellenberg, please introduce yourself briefly to our readers and explain what you do at the Turicum Distillery.
Hi, everyone. For the past 2.5 years, I've been the Event Manager in charge of organizing all events at the Turicum Distillery.
The Turicum Distillery is a new attraction. What can visitors look forward to?
Our guests can look forward to a roughly 90-minute journey of discovery through Zurich’s first distillery. After a welcome drink, we’ll begin with a guided tour of our production facilities and provide fascinating insights into the production of gin, rum, and vodka. Afterward, we’ll taste our product lineup together and discuss the botanicals used in each. A highlight is the custom station where guests can create their own personalized gin and tonic from a selection of 51 distillates. The visit concludes with an exclusive gift to round out the experience.
That sounds exciting! Please tell us more about Turicum Gin and the distillery!
Turicum is Zurich’s first distillery and is known for high-quality, locally produced spirits crafted with great attention to detail. Our products are still made by hand, and we’ve been producing Turicum London Dry Gin for 11 years now. In addition to various gins, our lineup also includes rum and vodka. Production takes place at our beautiful distillery in Albisrieden, where we also host our events. In recent years, we’ve also been honored to receive several national and international awards for our products.
The Turicum Distillery Tour complements your existing offerings. What prompted you to launch this new format?
With the Distillery Tour, we deliberately set out to create an attractively priced offering that provides a gateway into our world. It’s aimed at anyone who’s generally interested in touring a distillery and learning more about the production of spirits, without necessarily being a gin lover.
At the same time, it was important to us not to deny guests access to our 51 different flavors in the distinctive glass columns that are otherwise familiar from the Gin Lab. That’s why this format also retains a creative element, allowing guests to create their own gin and tonic—or, for those who don’t see gin as the centerpiece, another long drink—at the end.
